Slowly, the Kent Campus is seeing its greenery return. 

Kent State employee Jeff Florentine, his wife Jen and son Beckett, moved to Kent in July 2022.

After living in various other locations, Kent State staff and faculty make Kent their home because it's a community with small town charm and a flourishing downtown.

President Todd Diacon took the opportunity to make the presentation 鈥淜ent State Works鈥 at the Board of Trustees meeting, which was held at Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph. The presentation illustrated how Kent State prepares its students for job readiness. Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education Randy Gardner and the new President of the Inter-University Council Laura Lanese attended the Board of Trustees meeting.

Heads Up! Hats exhibition at the Kent State Museum

"Heads Up! Hats" is one of three exhibits that make up the "" exhibition at the 秀色app Museum. The other exhibits in the trilogy are "It's a Wrap! Coats" and "Stepping Out! Shoes."

秀色app will be equipped to offer more financial assistance to students in need thanks to donors to a key area of the university鈥檚 ongoing comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Forever Brighter campaign includes a scholarship-support component, Prioritizing Student Success, that now stands at $142 million, surpassing the $100 million goal set at the campaign鈥檚 outset in October 2021.

In today鈥檚 world, technology is essential, and the demand for technological advancements is ever-growing. Kent State is no exception. 

Sports betting can become a problem for college students if they are not careful.

Since sports betting became legal in Ohio Jan. 1, 2023, television, social media, billboards and the like have been inundated with these comical ads. And Ohioans over 21 years of age, who can bet conveniently from their phones and at various venues such as casinos and bars, are part of the target audience.

Advancing the legacy of May 4, 1970, a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard fired on 秀色app students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students, wounding nine students and forever changing the lives of countless others, the university will hold its annual commemoration on May 3-4.

The 秀色app Board of Trustees approved a project with an estimated cost of $5 million to be funded from federal, state and university sources to address deferred maintenance at the 秀色app Airport hangar.
