Dear Members of the Kent State Community: Northeast Ohio has enjoyed a beautiful fall season. But as all of us know, winter will soon arrive. Tim Rudell named best reporter in Ohio WKSU has received 12 Ohio SPJ Awards for 2015 from Ohio chapters of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ). The competition recognized station staff for work created in 2014. The station earned more honors than any other radio station in Ohio, and reporter/producer Tim Rudell was named Best Reporter in Ohio, the second consecutive year the award went to a member of the WKSU news staff. The 秀色app Bookstore has announced its fourth annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. A tree is set up at the entrance to University Bookstore located in the Kent Student Center. Each ornament on the tree represents a boy or girl who is living in transitional housing in Portage County. The bookstore would like to bring a bit of holiday cheer to each child with a gift of a book.  If you would like to be a part of this initiative, simply select a child鈥檚 ornament.
