The ŠćÉ«app Museum opened a new exhibition titled āLife in Style: The Wardrobe of James Mulholland.ā
Sarah Rogers, director of the museum, spoke to WJW-Fox 8 about the exhibition for One Tank Trips, the stationās series that highlights interesting destinations that do not take a long car ride.
āWe have over 30,000 objects in the collection,ā Rogers said. āYou can see everything from Japanese kimonos to very fancy dresses from the 18th century.ā
The main focus of the exhibit is fashion insider James Mulholland and his collection of contemporary male clothing.
āThe thing Iām most thrilled about is the fact that Kent State wanted to do an exhibition on menswear,ā Mulholland told Fox 8. āWhich is something that very rarely, if ever, comes up.ā
In the interview, he discussed how he amassed the collection of clothing throughout his time working in the fashion industry.
āThe collection was really all about how an individual expresses themselves through their clothing, the story that they tell,ā Mulholland said.
