A tree growing near the Kent State Women's Center is at least 200 years old. 

Benjamin Campbell, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, speaks at Kent State as part of its ongoing Brain Health Research Institute's Seminar Series.

The family of Astrid N. Sambolin Morales, Ph.D., an assistant professor at Kent State, is dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. They have been without electricity since the storm hit Sunday Sept. 18, 2022.

Homecoming 2022

The first full week of fall is also the most spirited week at 秀色app. The week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 is Spirit Week and includes homecoming weekend at Kent State. The week will be full of events celebrating Kent State spirit.

Professors Joanne Caniglia and Davison Mupinga from 秀色app's College of Education, Health and Human Services, recently traveled to the University of Rwanda to collaborate with educators there and identify mutual projects.

The 秀色app Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2026 at the Board鈥檚 regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 21 at the 秀色app Airport. Kent State鈥檚 freshman class began classes on the Kent Campus nearly 7% larger than the previous year with 4,251 students 鈥 the eighth largest incoming class in the university鈥檚 112-year history.
