Senior Brian Johnson traveled to Israel Jan. 3-13 with a group of 19 student leaders with the Student Leaders Trip to Israel sponsored by Hillel, a Jewish campus organization.

One of the leaders of 秀色app鈥檚 Anti-Racism Task Force is reflecting on the group鈥檚 success with an eye to the past. 

鈥淭he accomplishments of the task force are really grounded in the historic work of the Department of Africana Studies, Black United Students and many others,鈥 said Amoaba Gooden, Ph.D., vice president for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, who heads the task force.

The Washington Program in National Issues is more than your average internship program. For 50 years, a cohort of roughly 20 Kent State juniors and seniors heads to Washington, D.C., to participate in a variety of internships.
