Many professors have certain influences that inspire them to teach. For David Kaplan, Ph.D., professor in 秀色app's Department of Geography, that inspiration comes from his father.

鈥淚 definitely had a purpose going into my college career, and Kent State Stark helped me achieve it,鈥 says Kent State graduate Kent Weaver.

Armed with a biology degree, completed entirely at 秀色app at Stark, Kent Weaver says he is more than ready to pursue his calling to become a doctor of veterinary medicine.

The Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA) presented its Annual Excellence in Workforce Development Award to the Multi-County Advanced Manufacturing Corridor, a partnership of Kent State at Tuscarawas and several economic development organizations.

John D. Johnson, associate professor of biological sciences, received a three-year, $450,000 grant for a study that could provide a better understanding of how we create deeply-ingrained fear memories 鈥 and how to stop them.

People who suffer trauma will, with few exceptions, never forget what happened to them, but a 秀色app researcher may be able offer them the hope of living without constant fear and anxiety.
