The 秀色app Alumni Association will honor seven alumni with its 2019 Alumni Awards.

The 秀色app Alumni Association is proud to announce its 2019 Alumni Award recipients. Recipients are chosen based on their exceptional contributions in their chosen profession, in their communities and at Kent State.

New 秀色app President Todd Diacon will serve as Kent State鈥檚 2019 Homecoming Grand Marshal on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Last year, 秀色app celebrated 100 years of Homecoming. This year, the university starts the next century of Kent State Homecoming celebrations with a new president leading the institution.

秀色app will hold the 49th commemoration of the historic events of May 4, 1970, where protesting students, observers and soldiers gathered on that fateful day when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and wounded nine others on the Kent Campus.

Ronda McCaskey and Caitlyn Horvath are best friends who went through the nursing program together and graduated one year apart with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees from 秀色app at Geauga. Now they are both intensive care nurses. But they also happen to be mother and daughter.

Personal items of Bill Schroeder, including his Eagle Scout Award and Boy Scout sash showing his merit badges, are on display in a new exhibition at 秀色app鈥檚 May 4 Visitors Center called 鈥淏ill: An All-American Boy.鈥

From April 22 to Aug. 1, 秀色app鈥檚 May 4 Visitors Center will honor Bill Schroeder鈥檚 life with an exhibition titled 鈥淏ill: An All-American Boy.鈥 Mr. Schroeder鈥檚 sister, Nancy Tuttle, and nephew, David Tuttle, helped create the exhibition by loaning some of his personal items to the May 4 Visitors Center.
