Work in progress: Site shoring around the building is complete - contractor is demobilizing. 130 Piles are complete on the north end of the site (approximately to column line 7). Temporary ramp into excavation is complete. Sanitary tie-in on the north side has been completed. Pile caps and grade breams have begun. Mass excavation is complete. 秀色app鈥檚 efforts to conserve energy over the winter break saved the university $45,965 in electric and steam costs over nine days. The reduction in greenhouse gas emissions during this period was equal to more than a million miles driven by an average passenger vehicle. Kent State鈥檚 Office of Sustainability encouraged faculty, staff and building curators to shut down all appliances and electronics before leaving for winter break to help the university conserve energy. In celebration of National Engineers Week, 秀色app at Tuscarawas is holding the 34th annual Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo on Feb. 25 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Student Union of Founders Hall.
