Mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 9, as we celebrate the 61st anniversary of the Bowman Breakfast with a special presentation by Kent State President Todd Diacon on the topic of Kent State Works. Since its inception in 1963, this event has brought together university and city leaders to address important community issues and strengthen the partnership between Kent State and the city of Kent.

With recreational marijuana sales now underway in Ohio, ÐãÉ«app officials are reminding the campus community that marijuana use remains prohibited on all university properties.Ohio voters approved Issue 2 on Nov. 7, 2023, legalizing the possession and use of limited amounts of marijuana in non-public places for individuals 21 and older. Recreational sales began on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Metin Eren, Emma and Brian

Metin Eren, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Anthropology and director of archaeology at ÐãÉ«app, reached out to Brian Redmond, Ph.D., then curator at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and asked if he could join him for a dig.
