Kent State President to Deliver Her First State of the University Address: Celebrating Today, Imagining Tomorrow

WHAT:
ŠćÉ«app President Beverly Warren will deliver her first State of the University address on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 3 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva. Kent State faculty, staff, students and members of the community are invited to attend the event, which is themed ā€œCelebrating Today, Imagining Tomorrow.ā€ A reception will follow in Room 206, Kent Student Center. Kent Stateā€™s Regional Campuses will host watch locations for their campus communities. 
 
ā€œAs we approach the season of giving thanks, I remain deeply grateful, truly proud and enormously excited to be part of the most gifted and giving community I know,ā€ Warren said. ā€œIn that spirit, I invite you to join me as I give my first State of the University Address. It will be an opportunity for us to look back and celebrate our communityā€™s many accomplishments, and to look forward to reaching even greater heights as we imagine a bold, brilliant and purpose-driven future.ā€
