Messages of congratulations and displays of 秀色app pride flooded social media as the Kent State men鈥檚 basketball team captured the 2017 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Men's Basketball Tournament Championship title and was selected as a No. 14 seed to play the UCLA Bruins in the NCAA Men鈥檚 Basketball Tournament. Kent State students, alumni, employees, community members and fans of the Golden Flashes celebrated the unexpected achievement of the men鈥檚 basketball team winning four straight games to become MAC Tournament Champions and advance to the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
Congratulatory messages from some famous Golden Flashes included Drew Carey, actor, comedian and host of 鈥淭he Price Is Right鈥; Julian Edelman, wide receiver for the Super Bowl champions New England Patriots; and Josh Cribbs, three-time NFL Pro Bowler.
