FLYERS AROUND CAMPUS

Posting flyers around campus is a great way to help promote your event.  Here is a list of campus locations with the "community bulletin boards" which permit you to post your flyer (don't forget push pins). Printing of flyers is the responsibility of the student organization.
 

DIGITAL ADVERTISING

You can use the many digital screens around campus to get your message out.  This advertising is free! Simply email all the contacts below on one email, along with the following sizes of your promotional graphics and the dates you'd like it to run. 1024x768, 1600x900, 1920x1080, 916x916 pixels. Each person knows what size they need.

GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANCE

All of these marketing resources require specifically sized artwork, or it simply can't be used.  If you decide to take advantage of any of these and need design assistance for the artwork, we recommend meeting with Signum Design. They are a student-run design firm located in the Kent Student Center, which is available for no charge to student organizations.  Signum Design does all of the design work for the Center for Student Involvement, and they do a great job.

Plan ahead when utilizing Signum or any other design firm.  You'll want to get your project started with a designer at least 3-4 weeks before the artwork deadlines outlined below.

Registered student organizations can receive Kent State's corporate pricing on all print projects including banners, flyers, postcards, and more.
