IN A FLASH: A Student Symphony

Scott MacPherson, DMA, conductor and director of choral studies, led the 秀色app Orchestra in rehearsals this week for what he called a 鈥渉uge鈥 concert this Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. with the Kent Chorus and Chorale. 

Performing works for both full symphony orchestra and strings, the 秀色app Orchestra is open to students of any undergraduate and graduate major at Kent State.

The Hugh A. Glauser School of Music is part of 秀色app鈥檚 College of the Arts and traces its roots back more than 100 years with the first head of the music department, Anne Maud Shamel, and the first classes of special music students.
