ŠćÉ«app at Stark Interim Dean Denise Seachrist and Sr. Facilities Manager Brian Gardner recently presented Larry and Chuck Hoover of The Hoover Foundation with a copy of the Kent State Board of Trusteesā resolution that recognizes The Hoover Foundation for their generous support of the campusās new Science and Nursing Building. The geology laboratories and geology mud room in the building, which is opening in August, have been named in honor of the foundation.
āWe believe in having great local facilities for teaching the sciences to the young people in our community, especially in a building earning LEED Gold Certification,ā says Larry Hoover of The Hoover Foundation. āAnd a plus is being able to sponsor a dedicated research and teaching area for the geological sciences.ā
