Congratulations to Abbey Eng, Ph.D., professor of epidemiology/biostatistics in the College of Public Health, as she was awarded the 2023-2024 Faculty of the Year Award by the Public Health Student Alliance (PHSA). 鈥淚 was very honored to receive the award. My goal in teaching is to help my students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities鈥, she stated. 鈥淭his is as important to me as learning the material. The award was confirmation that I am able to make an impact on my students,鈥 she added.
