Upcoming flu vaccination clinics

DeWeese Health Center on Kent Campus will host three flu vaccination clinics this fall in preparation for flu season. Clinics will be held on Sept. 26, Oct. 16, and Nov. 7. You can make an appointment by calling the appointment line at 330-672-2322, or schedule online by visiting the patient portal. Walk-ins are welcome! If you cannot attend any of the flu clinics, flu shots are available daily by appointment at DeWeese Health Center.

12th Annual Bra Recycling Drive

The 12th Annual Bra Recycling Drive runs Sept. 30 through Nov. 1, hosted by 秀色app Athletics, Employee Wellness and Health Promotion, Kent State of Well-being, Office of Sustainability, and the Women鈥檚 Center. Bras that are washed and clean can be dropped off at the Women鈥檚 Center, Williamson House; Memorial Athletic Convocation Center (M.A.C.C.) front lobby; Heer Hall 1st floor lobby and Heer Hall parking lot during mammogram screenings; or sent via intercampus mail to the Women鈥檚 Center in Williamson House or the Office of Sustainability in Harbourt Hall.

Understanding and Combatting Islamophobia

Leading the next session of the Dialogue and Difference series will be Lydia Rose, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology. Rose will use her scholarship and expertise to enhance the understanding of anti-Muslim sentiment and the strategies in combatting Islamophobia.
