Schedule of Events for "Magical Designs for Mozart's 'Magic Flute'"

The ÐãÉ«app Museum celebrates "Magical Designs for Mozart's 'The Magic Flute'" — open through January 8, 2017 — with a series of tie-in events highlighting Mozart's opera and the artists who have interpreted it.

October 2 at 3 p.m. Cleveland Institute of Art, Peter B. Lewis Auditorium; $11 (Cinematheque members, KSU Museum members, KSU ID $8)
October 7 at 1:30 p.m. Master class in opera performance with soprano Sally Wolf ÐãÉ«app Museum, Murphy Auditorium; free and open to the public; see important parking advisory below
October 20 at 7 p.m. ÐãÉ«app Museum, Murphy Auditorium; free and open to the public
October 28 at 7:30 p.m. ÐãÉ«app Orchestra performs "Magic Flute" overture and more Cartwright Hall, University Auditorium; purchase tickets
November 4-6 (times vary) "Magic Flute" opera scenes performed by School of Music students ÐãÉ«app Museum, Murphy Auditorium; purchase tickets
November 27 at 1:30 p.m. Kenneth Branagh's "The Magic Flute" (film, 2006), a Cleveland theatrical premiere Cleveland Museum of Art, Morley Lecture Hall; $10 (CMA members, seniors 65 & over, students $8)
December 11 at 2 p.m. Salzburg Marionette Theatre's "The Magic Flute" (film) ÐãÉ«app Museum, Murphy Auditorium; free and open to the public

Important Parking Advisory for October 7

The Rockwell Hall lot will be closed during the Sally Wolf master class on October 7. Alternate parking will be available in the R17 lot across Lincoln Street, the R1 Lincoln lot on North Lincoln and the R16 White Hall lot. Please allow extra time to park.
