Rescheduled for March 4, 2015: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.鈥檚 former driver to speak at 秀色app

On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, Clarence Bozeman, the former driver for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will speak at 秀色app鈥檚 School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC).

From 1958 to 1959, Bozeman transported Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his wife, Coretta, to speaking engagements throughout Alabama. He will speak about his time as Dr. King鈥檚 weekend driver and the conversations he had with about the black community, the Montgomery Bus Boycott and other civil rights challenges.

The event is presented by Kent State鈥檚 photojournalism program and JMC鈥檚 Diversity and Globalization Committee and is free and open to the public.
