Graduation Term: Class of 2026

Major(s): Translation (MA)

Concentration(s): Arabic

Growing up as an empath and a sensitive person, I quickly learned the weight of words. I realized that beyond their literal meaning, words carry deeper significance shaped by context, the speaker’s emotional state, and cultural background. This understanding fueled my passion for communication and led me to the world of Translation and Interpreting.

I earned my Bachelor's degree and a Diploma in Translation and Interpreting in Egypt, focusing on Simultaneous Interpreting from Arabic into English and vice versa. My multilingual upbringing, where both English and Arabic were spoken, deepened my love for English and its intricacies. The more I delved into English—its structure, syntax, morphology, phonology, and etymology—the more my passion for the language grew.

Now, as a Fulbright scholar on a two-year scholarship and a KSU MA student, I am dedicated to bridging linguistic and cultural gaps, particularly through publishing academic work on language, translation, culture, and linguistics.
I am eager and excited to start this new chapter and be a part of KSU!

Fun fact: If it’s bubblegum-flavored, I’m eating it!
