Earlier this semester, the 秀色app Board of Trustees and the 秀色app Foundation unanimously approved the administration鈥檚 proposal for the most ambitious comprehensive fundraising campaign in the history of the university. Support of this proposal represents a significant vote of confidence in the Kent State community鈥檚 capacity to dream big dreams and achieve them.
As this groundbreaking fundraising effort prepares to launch, every member of the Kent State community is invited to play a role in envisioning ideas that will inspire the hearts and philanthropic interests of our alumni and friends, as well as foundation and corporate partners. Today, we are asking you to think big and share your most creative and mold-shattering ideas that promise to transform and elevate the capacity of our students, faculty and staff.
Truly big ideas encompass the following attributes:
- They are aligned with our Strategic Roadmap;
- They are forward-thinking and advance Kent State鈥檚 national distinctiveness; and
- They are interdisciplinary and/or interdepartmental, concrete and can be described succinctly in an elevator-type speech.
