Study Abroad Ireland

Business students who participate in an annual study abroad experience to Ireland gain awareness about Ireland鈥檚 culture and people while acquiring hands-on skills and learn about the country鈥檚 dynamic role in the European Union and global economy.

秀色app has received a significant grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to create an initiative to bolster the workforce for aircraft pilots and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operators in Northeast Ohio.

Lighter than air

First-year students in Kent State鈥檚 College of Aeronautics and Engineering were challenged to engineer and build propeller-driven aircraft suspended by helium balloons as part of the college鈥檚 鈥淟ighter Than Air鈥 competition.

Did you know we have a planetarium? Well, we do. Smith Hall at 秀色app is home to this versatile room that can be used for classes, events and can even replicate an easier-to-see version of the night sky.

Kent State has created an Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the National Security Agency (NSA) that will enhance and improve STEM education. The partnership will include undergraduate and graduate students participating in any STEM-related program.

Kent State鈥檚 College of Aeronautics and Engineering celebrated a milestone in October with the opening of its building expansion on the Kent Campus. University leadership, students, alumni, donors, faculty, staff and special guests attended the event as part of Homecoming activities.

Crawford Hall Commemorative Beam Signing

A commemorative beam signing event was held in April for Crawford Hall, the new home for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The beam was signed by university leadership, the college鈥檚 National Advisory Board and building project donors.
